True Hauntings

Most haunted houses are usually fake, but I know of some real ones. People claim that the White House in Washington D.C. is haunted by all of the ghosts of the great presidents from the past, like Abraham Lincoln and George Washington. Janitorial staff and other staff members also claim they have seen the ghosts of all the old White House pets roaming the halls at night, such as the horses, dogs, cats and someone even claimed they saw a rabbit and a guinea pig. And the story of the Taj Mahal is also said to be true. The story goes like this: A man fell so deeply in love with this woman that he decided that the only way he could show her just how much he loved her was to build a giant temple-like structure in dedication to her. This is the Taj Mahal. When the two were married, they were both the happiest people on Earth. The husband died and the wife decided to have him buried in the grounds of the Taj Mahal. Today, people claim that they see a ghost roaming the halls dressed in regal robes. Some stories say that he is waiting for his wife to find him in the afterlife and some say he is already with her and just observing and attending to the affairs of his Taj Mahal, while living as a dead person with his wife. Some other stories include Bob Mackey's Music Place. It is said that a cult of devil-worshipers murdered a young girl and severed her head to use as a blood sacrifice. They apparently threw her head down a well located in the basement of Bob Mackey's. Ever since then, there have been suicides and murders located in the building. There have been reported sightings of ghosts and a few vicious attacks on contributors to the music club. Some people that have investigated this place have ended up with deep scratches or bruises from supposed contact with the ghosts. AWESOME! If you click on the title of this post, it will take you to a preview of Ghost Adventures, a new show about ghost hunters on the Travel channel. It's way awesome!

The 2008 Elections

To the left we have the new president of the United States Of America: Democrat, Barack Obama!
To the right we have the opposing party candidate: Republican, John McCain!
What do these two men have in common? They were both in the 2008 United States Presidential Election! What sucks about the elections, in my opinion, this year? BARACK OBAMA won! I admit that being a republican brings me bias against Obama and a little more towards McCain, but I honestly think that Barack is going to do something to completely destroy our country's great heritage! There have been rumors floating around that Obama is planning to get rid of certain rights that are stated in the Constitution, which may turn in to possibly even throwing out the historical document. I don't know if I believe these accusations, but I most definitely believe that something bad will happen with him as president. And one of the worst parts about that is, if he screws this term up, people will not want to vote for black people anymore! I don't think that is fair for the black community! He is an idiot and I hope he gets impeached! But if he does then his VP will become president and then everyone is basically screwed! The elections, in my opinion, went very badly this Electoral term! Ugh! It's madness!

What The Human Species Calls IRONY

OK, so I was doing this project on addiction to technology and how it can affect a person and the people around them. It was hard to find any information in books so we looked on the internet and everything was there! It was ironic that the website we went to said, "Addiction to the internet is a dangerous thing and can start with even the smallest thing like using the computer even once". Haha! It's kind of funny that they had that posted on a website on the INTERNET. Another thing I saw was a sign (that just about everyone has seen) that said, "No skateboarding, except if you're Jesus". And someone did a blog on the Holiness of Christian ROCK. Can you say OXY MORON?!

Plans For My Hopeful Future

So, I literally fell in love with this British actor a little while ago. Ever since then, I've been stirring up a plan inside of my crazzzy brain to meet the guy of my dreams. It's not like this actor is ever going to notice me but I will find a way to be noticed by someone... When I start in high school I'm going to try to get in to as many AP (college credit) classes as I possibly can. Maybe I should try a foreign language, like Spanish or French, too. It's uber nerdy, I know but I need my Bachelor's degree as fast as I possibly can. I will take as many of these classes over the years as I can (which should give me about 2 years of college), and I will try very hard to get all A's (I need a really good GPA for what I am planning on doing). Then , when I get out of high school, I'll go to BYU for two years (because I will have already completed two additional years in high school) and get a Bachelor's degree in theatric/movie makeup, all the while taking side courses involving Archeology, Anthropology and possibly band (unsure about that last one). Possibly even medical sciences. Then, I will try out for a job in Hollywood by showing them my work. If all goes well, I will move to Hollywood or somewhere close and go to USC (Not Utah State College, University of the State of California, also known as California State University) and study Archeology, Anthropology and medical sciences, along with side classes involving more movie makeup and maybe something musical. I will continue this for a few years and from there, see what career I like best. I will probably stay in movie makeup but have another steady job as an Anthropologist/Archeologist somewhere in LA or something like that. I might pay a visit to Oxford University if income allows. Somewhere in all of this mayhem, I hope to meet the British man of my dreams (hopefully even and actor)! WOW! That was quite a bit of planning!

HALLOWEEN!!!!!!!

OMG! Halloween was sooooooo fun! First, I went trick-or-treating with my buddy. We got tons of candy! YUM! It sucked that no one could tell that I wasn't a skeleton, but that I was a gothic vampire. I was wearing this shirt with bones on it and they immediately assumed that I was a skeleton! Lame! Not Jack, though. He ain't a lame skeleton. :D We walked down this street and there was this creepy guy in a huge grim reaper costume and he was on those bouncy stilt things. We told him he had a nice costume and then he turned around and started following us. My buddy said it was a nice night for trick-or-treating and he just kept following us and didn't say anything. It was creepy! But then he turned around and walked away from us. After trick-or-treating for a while we walked down a few blocks and were about to walk by this fence. There was some kind of weird head on it and it was uber confusing. Wewalked by and as soon as we did the fence started shaking and a bunch of loud noises came from the peep's backyard! We found that the head was a motion sensor. Lol. I jumped and got my "entitled" good scare. AWESOME! Then we went to a "Halloween party" at our other friend's house. That was the first party I have ever crashed! Lol. I wasn't even invited. Haha! All we really did was talk and watch parts of that movie "Another Cinderella Story". It was kind of almost boring but still fun. The ride home was the best! We were all being loud and teasing my friend about the dude she likes! It was so fun! I ended up being the last one in the car with our friend and her dad. It was super quiet after that.... Lol. Good candy though!!!
